The Gulf Island Adventures Mothership is a unique boat and unique vacation experience. Designed specifically for tropical water cruising, Gulf Island Adventures combines spacious accommodations with a shallow draft to allow access to shallow waters and deserted beaches. It has jet drive propulsion so there are no exposed propellers to damage the marine enviroment.

Fishing is our passion, it’s what we’re best known for in the area. Our local guides have been hand picked for their customer service, local knowledge, and top of the line boats and fishing equipment. Our Guides will pick you up and drop you off at the Mothership, and can arrange your charter around the best tides and moon phases to give you the best opportunity to reel in the catch of a lifetime. Your experience on the water will be guaranteed to be a safe and enjoyable one whether you’re fishing backwater flats or going offshore.

Built for relaxed cruising and comfort, not speed, Gulf Island Adventures is ideal for plying the shallow waters and coastal estuaries of the Gulf Coast. Your schedule is our schedule - your interests are ours. We can spend as much time as you want in one quiet place, or cruise each day to a new destination and variety of activities. In addition to activities enjoyed directly from the boat, Guided Backcountry and Offshore fishing, SCUBA diving, Shelling, as well as Kayak Eco-tours are available through local charters that will pick you up and return you to the boat.

The Gulf Island Mothership just underwent a significant upgrade with new carpets, canvas, appliances, lighting, navigational equipment, and much more. For those of you that need to stay in touch, we offer wireless internet connection throughout much of our cruising area, so you can check on things back at home while relaxing on the boat.

Most of our cruises are all inclusive with gourmet meals and "top shelf" drinks so you never have to worry about all those incidental expenses - there aren't any. We even customize the menus to meet any dietary restrictions and preferences. Just relax and enjoy the good life!
 
The Mothership is 100-feet in length and features four king-bed staterooms which can convert to two twins for a shared suite, a sizable galley and living room, fore and aft lower decks, and a wide open upper deck that includes the helm, sun and shade areas with chaise lounges, a well stocked bar area, large hot tub (or "cool tub" on those hot days), plus an al fresco dining area. All staterooms are equipped with large windows and ceiling fans, full en suite facilities, and televisions. For those very hot days, the entire main deck and staterooms are fully air conditioned. Usually this is not needed because of the ever-present Gulf breezes and moderate temperatures.
